This year was nuts. Started off the first pull in the morning @9am with Reggie&#8217;s black EVO 9 pulling 575 whp. A couple years ago that would have been enough power for a 1st place.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/roadraceengineering.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=3839\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3839\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3839\" title=\"dyno-reggie\" src=\"http:\/\/roadraceengineering.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/dyno-reggie.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1002\" height=\"667\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Next up was Mike S. also with his Graphite Grey EVO 9. He was tuned by Reese and laid down the\u00a0gauntlet early @ 971 whp. Here is a video of the pulls and awards ceremony shot by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/user\/ReefsRally?feature=watch\">ReefsRally<\/a><\/p>\n<p>[youtube]http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=mZK8LQp1iGg[\/youtube]<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/roadraceengineering.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=3829\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3829\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3829\" title=\"chart-Mike_S-972hp\" src=\"http:\/\/roadraceengineering.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/chart-Mike_S-972hp1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"750\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Another GG EVO 9 owned by Shaun and tuned by RallInspired knocked out 810 whp that was only good enough for 3rd place for the day and the second highest torque @ 699 ft lbs :-P \u00a0These were all relatively short pulls at roughly 6 seconds of full throttle since it was pretty hot and in the direct sun. These are all tuned drag cars running E-85. We asked each owner what rpm they were comfortable starting the pull at and what rpm to stop the run at.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3831\" title=\"chart-Shaun-809hp\" src=\"http:\/\/roadraceengineering.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/chart-Shaun-809hp.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"750\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Speaking of the heat, we needed a little assistance hustling the cars on and off the dyno. <a href=\"http:\/\/roadraceengineering.com\/blog\/?p=3857\">RRE Girls Erica and Holly<\/a> were gracious enough to assist as possible!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/roadraceengineering.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=3836\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3836\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3836\" title=\"dyno-help\" src=\"http:\/\/roadraceengineering.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/dyno-help.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"828\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Then Loya Racing brought out their 92 Eclipse GSX. Last year it was suffering from an ignition break up but this year it<!--more--> was the highest power DSM at 698 whp.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/roadraceengineering.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=3833\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-3833\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3833\" title=\"dyno-1g\" src=\"http:\/\/roadraceengineering.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/08\/dyno-1g1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"676\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Mark Desimone with his Blue By You EVO 8 ran a clean 906 whp on Mike Sebesten&#8217;s old turbo setup from last year. I had some help on the run from Bryce. Uned by Sam here @ RRE on E-85 it was good for 637 whp. All the cars were driven to the event!
