Rubber hose or silicone hose? Rubber hose will do the job for just about any intercooler piping install project. The difference in what you pay for silicone will be in it's longevity. Rubber hose, if used in a high temperature location under the hose can dry out and crack
after a year or two. Used in an area with decent air circulation it can last 5 years or more. Black rubber hose specs:
- Tube: Blended Buna-N/SBR (styrene butadiene rubber)

- Temperature Range: 0° to 212° F
