Stainless Steel Mandrel Bends

2 1/2" DSM Down Pipe First Bend $30

Mandrel bent 2 1/2" 409 stainless steel. 72 degree bend is the perfect bend for making your own DP. Has a 12" leg to go under the oil pan and will connect to a flex section. You need to trim to fit to the O2 flange. For a 3" DP use a 90 degree bend to clear the cross member better.

Aluminum Intercooler/Intake Bends

These 6061 aluminum bends must be TIG welded (expensive welder that requires a lot of skill). Aluminum is the light weight and is very easy to cut and trim. Also very easy to bead since it is very soft. It can be polished, anodized, painted or left alone.

Aluminized Steel Exhaust Bends

These aluminized tubes have a thin electro-coating of aluminum on them that drastically reduces corrosion over time. This thin coating does not affect welding and can be welded with any MIG or TIG welded with regular steel welding rod. The thicker 14 gauge wall makes for the best bang for the buck exhaust piping.

Plain Steel Intercooler Tubing Bends

These plain steel bends are best used for intercooler piping. They are a thinner wall allowing them to be more easily cut and trimmed and beaded. The plain steel welds nicely with any welder. They will need to be painted or powder coated to prevent rust over time. While you can get them chromed, they will not hold a polish. For straight tubing, see the bottom of this page.
